Your everlasting memories of the Canadian Rockies
Professional photography in the Canadian Rockies
Yes, I am an elopements and adventure weddings photographer but I also like to take on photography sessions with couples or families (or pets!) all around the Canadian Rockies during the summer.
From Banff National Park to Jasper or even Yoho, I will adapt to your itinerary to capture your memories.

What type of photography do I offer?
Photo sessions can be as you want them to be! My minimum photo session time is 30 minutes, but I do also 1h, 2h and up to the full day if you feel like it!
You don’t need a special occasion for the sessions, it could be just to celebrate being in Banff and wanting great photos of your trip in Banff, it could be a surprise proposal (I have done quite a few of them and I help plan them!), it could be an engagement session, it could be for your honey moon.
How do surprise proposal work?
You want to pop the question and propose to your partner? CONGRATS!
It can be very overwhelming and you might not know where to start. You might have seen proposal videos online and wonder if you should book a photo session.
Booking a photographer to propose to your partner is a great idea! In the moment, you will be too stressed to think about any thing – maybe even to remember the moment – and a photographer to immortalize the moment will help you remember it vividly. It is also a nice gift to your partner (the ring is already a great gift!). It also allows you to have the story of the proposal in pictures to show your loved ones the good news.
I help you in the process by being your accomplice. I can give you advice on the location and the “story” to play so your partner won’t suspect a thing.
Where do you take photos?
I offer my photo sessions all around Banff, which includes Lake Minnewanka, Two Jacks Lake, Vermillion Lakes, Moraine Lake, Lake Louise and up to Jasper with Bow Lake and Peyto Lake (MY FAVOURITE!). I also offer photography in Kananaskis, which includes Spray lakes, Upper Kananaskis Lakes, Wedge Ponds, Mont Lorette Ponds, Barrier Lake and much more. You can have a look of the photo locations I offer on this link (no limited to).
You might want a “classic” photo session accessible by parking near the photography spot, or you can also want a hiking adventure photography session (which I do!) or an helicopter photo session (these are very nice to get away from the crowds and have some privacy in the mountains). It can also be a canoe session or a paddle board session (no worries if you don’t own them, I will make it happen!).
When are the photo sessions happening?
I shoot around the sunrise and sunsets hours. Sometimes I will do day sessions (send me a message for requests).
To get you the best photos you could get, sunrise and sunsets are the BEST time for photo sessions. The light hits a whole lot nicer and softer than at midday where the sun is harsh in your face. I could shoot midday but I choose to avoid it if I can.
Another reason for shooting at sunrise is that the locations are usually less crowded than during the day and you get to get the place for yourselves (and me!) – for Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, there will still be a lot of people but imagine how many more if it was midday! It is still possible to take photos with no one at Lake Louise early in the morning.
